With a total of over 5,000 runners in 2016, the half marathon time limit is 3 hours and the one-eighth marathon (5.3km) time limit is 50 minutes. One of the unique features of this race is the all-you-can-eat Koshihikari rice. At the main meeting area, a “gourmet village” full of side dishes are set up. Upon finishing, runners are handed a bowl of rice and can walk around to sample dishes that pair well with the famous Koshihikari rice.
