The Maebashi Shibukawa City Marathon’s full marathon consists of 2,000 runners, the 10km with 3,000 runners, the 5km with 1,000 runners, and the 1.5 km with elementary school children as well as a family run. Runners line up at 7:40 AM and the gun fires at 8:00 AM, the time limit is 6 hours.
The course is located in a laid back country setting, with some parts being hilly. This scenic course is a combination of mountains, rivers, colorful trees and flowers. The size of the race with 2,000 participants is also very comfortable.
