The current course record of 2:05:13 is held by Wilson Loyanae Erupe of Kenya. Kipruto's winning time was more than two minutes faster than his previous best of 2:08:12 set in Rome last year. Top female winner of the race was Kenya's Margaret Agai of Kenya with 2:25:52.
