  Located in Hyogo Prefecture with a population of 120,000, the city of Sanda is a 2 hour bus ride from Kansai International Airport. The half marathon consists of 5,500 runners with a cut off time of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The course is moderately hilly and partially runs through the newly developed area of the city. 20,000 local supporters come out along the course to cheer on the runners. Post-race, “Tonjiru”, a Japanese pork miso soup is served to help you relax and give you a peace of mind.
