  The Great Fjord Run is one of the greatest runnings events in Norway. A unique running weekend with several runs over three days. The Great Fjord Run takes place in Bergen – The gateway to the Fjords.
  
  In 2013 runners from 34 countries and 5 continents were participating. In 2011 and 2012, Haile Gebrselassie, world´s best all time long distance runner ever, visited The Great Fjord Run. After the race he said: “It is fantastic to be here”. “A fantastic run in a fascinating nature. I’ll come back”. The Great Fjord Run cooperates with The Great Ethiopian Run and UNICEF about an educational charity project for children and teenagers in Ethiopia, of which Haile Gebrselassie is the leader.
