• In November 2024, a full marathon will be born in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, offering an opportunity to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful Pacific Ocean scenery! Participants will have the rare opportunity to run along precious coastal routes, such as the Hitachi Bypass (Hitachi Seaside Road) portion of National Route 6, which extends over the seafront where pedestrians are not normally allowed, allowing them to race while gazing at the vast ocean.
