    In 2016, the capital of São Paulo won an international level marathon, which is here to stay. Already in its first year, SP City Marathon had 15,182 registered and became one of the three largest marathons in Brazil. In all, 3,366 athletes completed the 42,195 km and 9,204 completed the 21,097 km.

    The structure of the 2nd SP City Marathon does not owe anything to the biggest races in the world. Athlete care starts at the start time, at 6:00 AM. This allows most participants to cross the finish line when the temperature is still mild. More: Along the way, there are gas stations with Gatorade, carbohydrate gel, gum, salty, soda and anti-rash cream, as well as several musical attractions to motivate the runners.


    Starting at the Pacaembu stadium and arriving at the Jockey Club, the marathon route is an invitation for athletes from all over the world to meet important points in the main city of Latin America. From observing historic buildings and streets, modern buildings, monuments and many other things that often go unnoticed day by day.
