• It is worth the trip to Kochi prefecture to experience this awesome race! You can enjoy the charm of Kochi by experiencing the hospitality of the locals, local food and nature. The course starts with Kochi Castle in front of you as you make your way from the city passing through the tranquility of nature. The toughest part of the course, Urado Ohashi Bridge, awaits you at the 20km point where you must run up a 40m incline over a distance of 500m. The magnificent Pacific Ocean will greet you as you surpass the bridge. The course continues along a beautiful scenic route, including lush mountains and the Niyodo River, known for its miraculous clear stream. Kochi is well known for their fresh local delicacies and it is very popular among tourists.
