    Gunma Marathon (formerly Gunma Kenmin Marathon) is held in Maebashi city of Gunma prefecture, and the full marathon category was newly introduced in 2015.

    The course first runs along the Tome River, then through the city center of Maebashi and finally finishes at the Shoda Shoyu Stadium Gunma. 

    Receive your one-of-a-kind finisher’s t-shirt designed by a local designer and your certificate printed with your 5km split times and finish time. 23 water stations provide both water and sports drinks to keep you hydrated, 11 aid stations serve a variety of local foods and specialties, and also restrooms are located every 3km along the course.
